In designing Battle Derby, we have been following different F2P and WEB3 games, in order to analyze their mechanics, study their economy, see their evolution, and enhance the differentiating factors that will allow us to add an original and fun experience for players to our game.
The games we have analyzed shared the following similarities with Battle Derby:
In order for both economic models to coexist, we have designed common functions, but making the type of reward go according to its economy, in this way the transition from F2P to P2E will be under mechanics that the player knows, but applied to the new economic model.
As for the evolution of NFTs, it will share elements with F2P, where the player will choose which statistics they want to improve, thus the configuration and evolution of the car will be at the player's choice.
As for the use of the car in combat, both models will be the same, without creating a car from one model better than another in order to offer all players an equitable experience, what will vary will be the rewards that will depend on the model of car that was used.
In order to support players in progressing in the game, the "Proof of Skill" system is designed, where rewards will be made through the player's skill and evolution, and not by "farming", thus powering the "Play To Earn" concept.
